On a night hammered by thunder and lightning, a strange young woman appears at the door of a family manor where an archaeologist, his wife and their artist friend are staying for the summer. Confused, and her naked body covered only by swamp mud, she is taken in, clothed and fed.
This begins a story of mystery and horror where the line between natural and the supernatural is crossed, and where friendships and relationships are threatened. Could the local legends telling of a witch buried in the nearby swamp be true?
Performed in Czech Republic in 1993 and in Prague, Czech Republic in 2000. The Finnish original premiered at the Helsinki Theatre in 1947.
